Moving Locations

SPINCUS | STUDIOS will be moving locations in the next coming months right down the street. We are relocating to Jamison, PA in our larger, more accomodating studio.

Construction is scheduled to commence on January 2012 and wrap up around July 2012. This will be a 6 month overhaul, but will benefit our clients with more space and features!

Busy, busy, busy

We have been so involved with all the projects this summer that updating the website (specifically the News section) has been difficult. We have completely neglected to add to it. We have a lot of videos, new songs and other odds and ends that we want to post for everyone to hear/see. Stay tuned!

Tracking / Mixing

This whole week we have been in the studio tracking bands/artists and voiceovers. We will be going strong for the next 2 weeks with a full time schedule of booked clients.

Mixing!

Quick update on what's going on. We have been mixing a lot of new projects as of late. I (Sean) have been able to finally refinish my entire 90's DW Kit and post a mini solo drum session in the media section that I did the other night! It sounds killer thus far.

We just got back from Iowa Speedway with We The Kings, I have some great pictures that I will be posting in the Photo Gallery section.

We have some vacation time planned in California (much needed if I may add). We will resume activity following July 12th, 2011. See you then!

Mixing and Mastering

We have been working on the new release from John Chaykin and Lisa Garner. The mixing and mastering process is just about complete. We are wrapping it up tonight. Take a listen to their tunes by picking up a copy via our online store when it becomes available. More to come!

Website Updates

We have been updating our website a lot recently. We added our full list of gear available to our clients. We also will have further changes by the end of May to make booking time and reserving calendar spots more convenient and accessible.

We understand that we have been saying these changes are underway for a few months now. It has been a long process to have the site fully functional while working with multiple vendors in the process. We appreciate the patience of our clients.

Thank you and be on the lookout for more to come!

Trying to stay fresh!

We have been working on a lot of different projects lately. We have spent a great deal of March mixing sound for the We The King's new DVD release.

We also spent a great deal of March retooling some of our gear for our live sound rig. It is now officially complete. We are in the process of buying a new studio drum set for clients to utilize (DW Collector Series / Zildjian Cymbals / DW Hardware).

The site is also being modified to be more manageable to update for us. It is hard running a business and organizing content for a site without a large staff to help in the process. We hope these new changes coming down the pipeline before April ends will make updates easier and more readily available.

I (Sean), would like to start a blog or a "how-to" around the concepts of music production, live sound and instrumental instructions, concert reviews, tour profiles, recommendations and general music facts. I hope to have a lot more posts via that medium with links to it on our news section here. Stay tuned!
